Publishing Principles

At GradeUp, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, transparency, and integrity in all our published content. Our publishing principles guide how we create, review, and update the learning materials and resources available on our platform.

Accuracy and Curriculum Alignment

All our maths worksheets, exam preparation tools, and educational resources are developed in strict alignment with the South African CAPS curriculum, suitable for both DBE and IEB learners. Each piece of content undergoes a careful review to ensure it is factually accurate, relevant, and up to date with the current academic requirements.

Educational Integrity

We believe in providing learners with reliable support that improves understanding, builds confidence, and promotes independent practice. Every worksheet and exam resource includes step-by-step video memos created by qualified educators, ensuring that the guidance is clear, unbiased, and educationally sound.

Transparency for Parents and Learners

Our platform is designed to give parents full visibility into their child’s progress. Automated reports and instant marking ensure transparency, while content descriptions clearly state whether resources are for worksheets, exams, DBE, or IEB levels. We avoid misleading claims and ensure that parents and learners know exactly what to expect.

Accessibility and Inclusivity

GradeUp is a 100% online platform, accessible from any device without the need for downloads. We strive to make our content inclusive and user-friendly, ensuring that learners of different abilities and backgrounds can benefit equally from our resources.

Regular Updates and Continuous Improvement

We continuously review and update our content to reflect curriculum changes, exam formats, and user feedback. This ensures that learners always have access to relevant and effective study material.

Ethical Publishing

We uphold ethical standards in all our publishing practices. We do not plagiarize or misrepresent content. All videos, worksheets, and examples are original and developed specifically for GradeUp to ensure authenticity and trustworthiness.

Accountability

If errors are identified, we act promptly to correct them. We welcome feedback from parents, learners, and educators, and we are committed to being accountable for the content we publish.

Corrections Policy

At GradeUp, we are committed to accuracy. If an error is identified in our worksheets, exam preparation tools, or supporting videos, we act quickly to correct it. Updates are made as soon as reasonably possible, and the corrected version is published on the platform without delay.

Parents and learners can report errors via our contact page, and we will acknowledge receipt, review the report, and implement necessary corrections. Significant updates may also be reflected in our “last updated” notices on relevant pages.

Ethics Policy

At GradeUp, we believe education must be built on integrity, fairness, and respect. Our Ethics Policy guides how we design and deliver our resources:

Integrity in Content Creation: All resources are original, developed by qualified educators, and never copied from other providers.

Commitment to Learners: We provide affordable, high-quality alternatives to costly tutoring, focusing on support and skill development.

Fairness and Non-Discrimination: Our content serves both DBE and IEB learners, regardless of background or circumstance.

Transparency in Pricing and Access: We clearly communicate what each package includes, with no hidden costs.

Respect for Feedback: Ethical responsibility means listening to parents, learners, and educators, and making improvements when needed.

Data Protection and Privacy: We safeguard personal information and never sell data to third parties.
